Washington Post: The most intent on preserving the educational status quo have a personal interest in also preserving racial preferences.  To the degree that there are failures and shortcomings in K-12 public education, racial preferences at the college level help to conceal them.

Town Hall: Commentary on “The George Lopez Show” on ABC, and Hispanic attitude towards affirmative action.

With a real guest worker program in place, those who wish to simply work here can.  Those who wish to be citizens must follow the law.  Opportunity is a two way street, with it comes responsibility.
